Senior Devops Engineer in Bucuresti

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our modern tech stack, with a specific focus on microservices-based architectures. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of our systems, as well as in driving the adoption of modern DevOps practices and tools throughout our organization. Responsibilities Implement and maintain a modern tech stack, with a focus on microservices-based architectures, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. Architect, deploy, and manage infrastructure to support microservices, including technologies such as Kafka, ClickHouse, and Kubernetes. Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines, utilising tools like ArgoCD and Terraform, to automate software builds, testing, and deployments. Collaborate closely with development teams to provide guidance and support in adopting modern DevOps practices and tools, with an emphasis on microservices and enterprise methodologies. Drive automation initiatives to streamline processes, including configuration management, infrastructure provisioning, and application deployment. Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimise infrastructure components for scalability and cost-efficiency. Ensure robust security measures and compliance standards are implemented across the tech stack. Lead incident response and troubleshooting efforts to minimise downtime and resolve production issues promptly. Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and professional growth in the areas of microservices, DevOps, and modern enterprise methodologies. Collaborate with developers to facilitate their onboarding onto modern enterprise methodologies, providing guidance and support throughout the process. Requirements Strong experience with modern CI/CD tool stacks such as AzureDevops and GitLab CI. Good knowledge of containers and container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with infrastructure as code and automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Chef and with scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, and Bash. Experience using Canonical Juju would be considered an asset. Experience with on-prem infrastructure. Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK. Knowledge of network security and firewalls. Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server is ideal. Fluency in English.
