Senior Financial Controller (Romania) in Bucuresti

At INDG Grip we are looking for a Senior Financial Controller to join our growing team! As Senior Financial Controller you are part of our Finance Team taking ownership of the control and reporting side of the financial administration of our two companies INDG and Grip. As our organisation is experiencing exciting growth, we are looking for someone who is ready to support our business with the right financial insights and processes to continue this growth. In this role you will report directly to the Finance Director, and together with the three other members of the Financial Control team you are responsible for the administration of all our legal entities in several countries. You will be driving and hands-on involved in an international financial reporting function in a fast-growing organisation. For all entities we need a full set of financial reporting on monthly basis including consolidation / elimination, tax accounting and, in collaboration with HR, the payroll. As well the annual external audit and composing of the annual report. Grip supports brands to cope with the fast-accelerating challenge of the exponential grow and need for content. Grip is web-based software that automatically generates visual content. It’s based on photorealistic 3D, capitalizing on INDG’s twenty-year-long experience in that field. 3D is good because once your beer or your juicer or your rocket is on Grip, it can be used and re-used for multiple media: images, videos, iOS apps, and such. You will be responsible for... Month End Close, year-end close, audit: Accounting entries, such as posting and reconciling banks, revenue and sales invoicing, general ledger journals and accounting for specific transactions and recording of loan statements Ensuring balance sheet positions are fully substantiated Preparing the monthly cash flow statement Reconciling intercompany loans and transactions across the group Maintain the process for transfer pricing Statement of changes in equity, dividend Maintain chart of accounts, closing the period Manage and produce (in collaboration with local accounting agencies) statutory accounts for subsidiary companies Preparation and presentation of the Annual Report Pro-active in the development of relevant reporting policies and manuals Payroll postings, reconciliations VAT reporting CIT reporting Management Liaise with external tax advisors Interactions with tax authorities Coordinate with business control team and other internal departments where needed Key point of contact for external auditors ensuring planning and execution of the year end audit is well managed and ensuring information requests and deadlines are met Working with the Finance Director to implement and maintain processes and controls for the finance function Deputise for the Finance Director as and when required. Experience / Qualifications / skills; Strong accounting experience preferably gained on IFRS or US GAAP standards Strong system skills Experience with driving system migrations Experience with driving external audits from beginning till end People management skills Accounting Qualification (ACA/ ACCA) or local equivalent (possibly qualified by experience) Languages: English and Romanian What we offer We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as a dynamic and supportive work environment where you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact.
