This is your opportunity to join us, and help change the way early-stage start-ups access capital.As a Senior Frontend Developer at Birchal, you’ll be joining an established product team based in Poland. You'll be a great frontend engineer with experience in the best practices of software development and UI development. You're a product engineer at heart. You'll work with other software engineers and cross-functional team members to shape the future of this forward-thinking industry–creating brand-new, greenfield products.The RoleBuild out frontend infrastructure and user interfaces for all of Birchal's greenfield products / servicesFacilitate design discussions for complex frontend problemsCreate clear and concise solutions for the frontendBe exposed to our backend infrastructure and integrate the frontend accordinglyHave the opportunity to take ownership of large frontend projectsLearn tools, techniques, and technologies to help shape new opportunities for the businessHelp to mentor and improve other software engineersWork collaboratively with our senior leaders, engineers, designers, and product managers in PolandYou Have3-4+ years of commercial experience building web applications with React.jsExcellent understanding of JavaScript, ES6, and preferably TypeScript tooExcellent understanding of the modern web app architecture, and preferably OOP design tooKnowledge of the varied approaches to UI state managementUsed CSS-in-JS libraries before such as Styled Components, Stitches etc.Great appreciation for building out high-quality UI's (HTML5, CSS3 etc.)Appreciation for clean, testable code; e.g. Jest, Vitest, and/or CypressExperience working in an agile environmentWorked with backend software engineers, UX/UI designers, and product owners beforeYou Might HaveExperience with modern web frameworks; e.g. Next.js or RemixExperience with Node.js; REST API developmentExperience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)Experience with product building, particularly SaaS softwareFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud or AWSWorked on design systems and built component librariesBenefitsBe part of the journey and a valuable member of our team; we’ll be offering a competitive package.The chance to be part of a growing company in size and value.
