Job Description
One of our clients operates prominently in the financial sector, where we enhance operations across their extensive network of 150,000 workstations and support a workforce of 4,500 employees. Our IT solutions ensure streamlined processes and heightened security, enabling them to maintain leadership in financial technology.
The project team is responsible for the ongoing development of applications that support cash transactions within the bank.
The software is used by teller staff and supports daily cash-handling operations, including deposits, withdrawals, and other cash-related transactions.
The focus is on delivering stable, intuitive, and high-performance front-end solutions that efficiently support the day-to-day work of bank employees.
Responsibilities
Tailor client solutions: Conduct research, assessments, and recommend efficient and robust software solutions tailored to client needsDeliver high-quality code: Ensure the delivery of high-quality code that meets requirements, with a focus on performanceDrive Continuous Improvement: You will proactively identify areas for improvement in existing programs and lead refactoring effortsTeam collaboration: Collaborate closely with software engineers, product owners, team managers, and clientsProvide client consultancy: Offer technical consultancy services to clients to ensure solutions meet their requirementsNurture Knowledge: Mentor colleagues to enhance their skills and knowledgeQualifications
Must Have:
5+ years of experience in web application development using JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks/libraries such as Angular, RxJS, Angular Material, along with strong SCSS/CSS and HTML best practicesExcellent communication skills in English and German for effective collaboration with teams and clientsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, including debugging and performance testingExperience analyzing project requirements and delivering reliable solutions across different application componentsSolid understanding of client-server communication, protocols, and REST principlesExperience working in agile environments (Scrum / SAFe) within cross-functional squadsProficiency with version control systems such as Git and Atlassian toolsInterest in and hands-on experience with XP practices such as pair programming, TDD, DDD, and simple designAbility to adapt strategies and working methods based on specific project needs and contextsRegular use of AI tools to improve productivity, automate or reduce repetitive work, support decision-making, and deliver higher-quality outcomesAbility to use AI tools responsibly by structuring effective prompts, critically validating outputs, understanding limitations, and taking ownership of the final resultNice to Have:
