Position Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Technical Expert with strong experience in software development, system architecture, and DevOps practices.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Java-based applications while ensuring high code quality, maintainability, and operational efficiency. Proficiency in French is essential for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Development & Technical Expertise:
• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java, Spring, Angular, and SQL.
• Ensure best practices in coding, security, and performance optimization.
• Conduct technical debt analysis and propose solutions for long-term maintainability.
• Review and validate technical designs, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
DevOps & Operational Skills:
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments.
• Work with Docker for containerized application deployments.
• Administer Linux-based environments for hosting and troubleshooting applications.
• Collaborate with networking teams to ensure application security and connectivity.
Technical Leadership & Process Improvement:
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and quality assurance to ensure high software standards.
• Analyze and estimate the cost of new developments and feature enhancements.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers.
• Advocate for best practices in software development and DevOps.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 5 + years of hands-on experience in Java, Spring, Angular, and SQL development.
• Proficiency in Docker, CI/CD, Linux, and Networking.
• Strong understanding of technical design principles and software architecture.
• Experience in technical debt analysis and remediation strategies.
• Ability to conduct development cost estimation and impact analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Dev review, testing, and automation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Fluent in French (both written and spoken).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
