This includes developing and maintaining a comprehensive risk management framework that addresses Anti-Money Laundering, Sanctions & Embargoes, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, and Anti-Fraud & Investigations. Role OverviewAs an L3 Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing production support for software applications. You will collaborate closely with Development and Release Management teams to ensure the integrity of code and design for fixes (such as hot fixes and patches). Your role will involve supporting new applications in line with internal best practices and governance procedures. MTASC is an internal platform focused on internal fraud, featuring a backend component and various data sources analyzed using predefined rules. Required Skills and Experience: Proficiency in Python and PySpark for handling large data volumes Strong knowledge of databases (e.g., SQL, Oracle, Hive, Impala) Experience with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn Good understanding of Unix/Linux environments Familiarity with Big Data and the Hadoop ecosystem: Spark (including Spark SQL, Dataframes, PySpark) Awareness of DevOps practices like CI/CD Experience with version control systems like Git Practical knowledge of Shell Scripting Prior experience in production support with a proactive and hands-on approach Ability to analyze business requirements and defects, proposing effective hot fixes Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal) Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Agile development methodologies Familiarity with the Atlassian suite: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket Experience with Google Cloud Platform Knowledge of Control-M Workload Automation tool Experience with container deployment (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) Key Responsibilities Provide Level 3 support for technical infrastructure components, including databases, middleware, and user interfaces. Conduct problem and root cause analysis for application production incidents, delivering necessary resolution packs (e.g., hotfixes, patches). Offer L3 support and remediation for application issues by performing detailed code analysis of the production platform. Estimate the time required to implement remediation actions. Support and contribute to documentation in accordance with internal standards, procedures, and guidelines. Ensure effective vendor interaction in a multi-vendor environment. Perform incident and problem management activities.
