Senior Network Engineer in Constanţa

PROJECT INFORMATION: Industry: IT Infrastructure Location: Warsaw Remote work: We are looking for a candidate open to hybrid work from Warsaw,  but remote work ( with showing up at the office once in a while ) is also possible Remuneration: Negotiable, depending on experience Project length: Long-term Start: ASAP Assignment type: B2B Contract REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar position. Proficiency in English and Polish to fit in with the existing team. Previous and  up-to-date experience in network operation center  (NOC Level2, Level3) environment. Strong technical skills in multiple Network areas that include Citrix NetScaler, routing and switching (Arista and Cisco), proxy, and firewalls (Check Point), IPAM, DNS, Cisco DNA ( Wireless ), Infoblox. Knowledge of automation capabilities is desirable. Demonstrates a proactive mindset, embracing challenges with enthusiasm and a positive approach, and exhibiting a willingness to learn and adapt to new concepts. Ability to work well in a team environment and take responsibility for your work. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Willingness to work out-of-business-hours and be on-call as required. TECHNOLOGIES/PLATFORMS: Network Infrastructure platforms:  Citrix NetScaler load balancer , routing and switching ( Arista  and Cisco), proxy, and firewalls ( Check Point , Firepower), Servers. Tools and technologies:  Wireshark , ITSM, Jira, Automation (Python, Ansible), Solarwinds, Netbrain. RESPONSIBILITIES: As part of TAC team, you are providing a technical escalation for NOC team.  Handle  incidents  and problem management tasks related to the client's network infrastructure. Perform  maintenance  tasks such as patching and upgrading various platforms. Be involved in out-of-business-hours planned  changes  and provide  standby on-call  service as required. Collaborate with team members and other stakeholders to ensure that client requirements are met. Utilize your technical skills in  Citrix NetScaler Load Balancer , routing and switching ( Arista  and Cisco), proxy, and firewalls ( Check Point ) ,  Wireless cisco DNA  and  Infoblox. Apply automation capabilities to streamline network operations.
