About the Role
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join a Network Security Automation project within a complex technical environment. The role focuses on test automation, backend/API validation, and networking-based systems. You will work closely with development and DevOps teams to ensure quality, stability, and scalability across security-focused platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions
- Perform backend and REST API testing
- Contribute to automation framework development
- Execute test planning, documentation, and reporting
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Analyze requirements and define test scenarios
- Identify, track, and report defects
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in Software QA / Test Automation
- Strong programming experience with Python (mandatory)
- Experience with REST API testing (Postman, Swagger, etc.)
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols
- Strong experience with Linux command-line and bash scripting
- Experience with automation frameworks
- Knowledge of OOP concepts
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, Perforce)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Good English communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with Cisco / Juniper / Palo Alto devices
- JavaScript or TypeScript knowledge
- Virtualization technologies
- Networking certifications (CCNA, Juniper, Palo Alto)
- Security testing exposure
