Senior Procurement Governance Expert About the Role Location Romania Bucuresti Bucharest Company Siemens Energy Organization EVP Global Functions Business Unit Competence Hub Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your Day You will be part of the Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE) organization. We drive the implementation of governance, strategy, processes, and systems to enable a competitive advantage of Procurement.How You’ll Make an Impact You are setting the frame to define, implement and monitor the Procurement Governance Framework. You interact with Global Procurement Management and the Procurement Team on Policy, Compliance, and contractual issues. You support subject matter experts on governance relevant topics such as the procure-to-pay process. You ensure the adherence to Policies and develop training material for Procurement and the business to operate effectively. You interact with the internal Risk and Control Management function to ensure effective implementation of controls at Procurement. You drive the relationship with relevant cross-functions such as Compliance, internal and external Audit authorities, or data protection. You define the Procurement approval framework (, on POs, sourcing decisions or contracts) and ensure its further development and efficiency.You drive Governance digitalization to improve the overall Procurement Excellence.What You Bring5+ years of proven track record in procurement or similar functions within a global company.Degree in business administration, IT management, engineering or sciences.Knowledge in Supply Chain Management & Procurement methods & processes.Goal and Result Driven decision making.Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).Ability to transfer high complexity into execution and implementation.Proven success and track record of balancing multiple deliverables under tight timelines in a performance driven environment.Process analysis and supply chain knowledge.Strategic thinking and detailed analytical capability.Project Management Experience for small projects.High degree of teamwork skills.Ability to use standard software and systems.
