Job role As a Senior SAP License Manager, you will be part of the Global License Management team, creating transparency of the software and related SAP license usage. You will ensure the economic use of software in the area of responsibility and you will handle the commercial aspects of SAP licenses. What you will do Determine licensing requirements for SAP-SW and analyse SAP licensing terms Document licensing data (in-/outflows), historic license data, new purchases Determine commercial software license inventory Organize technical data collection, collect and document usage data Assure quality of inventory data Generate transparent reporting on consumption per OE/branch, per Service Owner Compile license balance; map commercial and technical inventories based on license metrics Analyse license balance, determine current licensing situation, identify licensing deviations (under-/over-licensing) Perform software compliance management reporting Support rectification of licensing deviations Check pool for unused licenses of SW in Global License Management scope Support SAM (Software Asset Management) control and governance evolvement Support risk or M&A SW compliance assessments Participating in SAP Contract negotiations Cost- and Revenue-Planning and execution of Service Charging for SAP license Responsible for the field of SAM within the area of responsibility Ensuring the implementation of the strategic framework and specifications of the Allianz Technology SAM within the area of responsibility Ensure process efficiency and support compliance in the area of responsibility Ensure Commercial “Black Zero” in the area of responsibility (Primary Costs for SAP licenses and charging license cost to Allianz OEs) Operationalize the requirements of Head of Global SAM within the area of responsibility Assign data requirements to stakeholders Software Product Owner, external service providers) Collaborate with other global / local license managers What you bring Knowledge about the different license metrics used for SAP licenses (perpetual licenses and cloud subscriptions). Experience in working with data, preparing reports, analytical background Good understanding of software contracts (important clauses for License Management) Knowledge about either ServiceNow SAM Pro, ServiceNow ITOM or other SAM Tools Experience with analytical, data processing and report generation of compliance positions Experience in commercial handling of licenses (cost and revenue planning, -forecasting and invoicing) Experience in contract negotiations Fluent in English (speaking and writing) Agile Certification or experience with an Agile environment You have 6+ years’ experience in license management/ software asset management ServiceNow Certification in ITAM/SAM CSAM (Certified Software Asset Manager) or any other accreditation in SAM Good interpersonal skills, ability to adapt to different stakeholders on all hierarchical levels and build trusted relationships Ability to communicate and present in a convincing and structured way; Fast learner, confident and a positive attitude Effective problem solving analytical and modelling skills, combined with strong business assessment and strategic thinking Enjoying working in an Agile team, but also independently What we offer Come to the Allianz side!
