Senior Service Now Consultant – SMART STEEL HUB Joining us you will become a part of Gdańsk Smart Steel Hub, launched recently as a result of a mutual agreement between thyssenkrupp Group Services Gdańsk and tk Steel Europe, where our newly hired IT experts will have the possibility to influence the development of digital processes supporting steel production by its biggest producer in Europe. Role:Optimize and further development from our cloud management platform (CMP) based on Service NowImplement new requirements in Service Now like:Customize Service Portal, Items, Tasks Create Flows and Workflows for needed processesAdd new 3rd Parties to collaborate with our Service Now instanceCustomize and Build-up general ITSM services for network topicsCollaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions.Design, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules to meet business needs.Develop workflows, business rules, UI policies, and other components using ServiceNow's proprietary scripting language, JavaScript, and other web technologies.Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems, such as HR, CRM, and IT infrastructure tools, using web services, APIs, and data import/export techniques.Perform ServiceNow administration tasks, including user management, access control, system configuration, and customization.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain ServiceNow functionalities, such as incident management, problem management, change management, asset management, and service catalog.Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow-related issues and provide technical support to end users.Conduct testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure optimal performance and reliability of ServiceNow applications.Stay updated with ServiceNow releases, best practices, and industry trends to provide recommendations and drive continuous improvement.Provide training and documentation to users and other stakeholders on ServiceNow functionalities and usage. Your Profile:Extensive knowledge of JavaScript.Familiarity with UI, SQL, HTML and CSS.Experience with Web Services Integration (SOAP, REST, and JSON)Knowledge of XML and structural programming concepts.Experience using the ServiceNow platform minimum 4 yearsKnowledge of ITIL processes.Advanced problem-solving ability.Experience with Web Services Integration (SOAP, REST, and JSON).Experience with System/Process Automation (Orchestration).Familiarity with Azure Active Directory concept.Experience with governance/service management/operations.Very good Service Now skills esp. with Cloud Management Plugin and ITSM- minimum 4 years.Very good English knowledge (spoken & written)- English B2 / German is a plus.Strong understanding of service and an open and communicative manner.
