About the Client:
The client specializes in developing open-source databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the DevOps and release management lifecycle in collaboration with MySQL server engineering teams
- Mentor junior SDETs, particularly on large-scale distributed database systems
- Evaluate and improve MySQL products/features based on test plans
- Monitor, analyze, and log failures in automated test systems
- Improve automation testing systems and infrastructure
- Recommend tools and strategies to enhance testing processes
- Use scripting languages like Shell or Python to support automation
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong DevOps experience with MySQL Server
- Proficiency in Bash/Shell/Python scripting
- Hands-on experience with MySQL database deployment, automation, and backup scripting
- Familiarity with ETL testing
