Responsibilities Develop and execute Plastics and Packaging category strategies leveraging best-in-class suppliers, processes and products to enable a competitive advantage to IA/BA business in Europe Partner with COE category sourcing partners and IA/BA cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and support of category strategy creation and execution for EuropeConsolidate fragmented IA/BA Mechanical spend in Europe, reduce the use of non-strategic suppliers, and move the procurement activities upstream in the lifecycle of a solution to bring greater value to HoneywellExecute the annual operating plan through year-over-year improvements in productivity, working capital, quality, delivery and supply continuityIdentify and select approved suppliers capable of providing solutions that meet established business requirements and follow the global commodity strategiesEngage in new product development to drive business award to preferred suppliers and support the launch schedule and target costFacilitate engagement across IA/BA business and functions to drive a singular approach to supplier management in assigned Mechanical commodity spaceNegotiate and execute supply agreements with strategic suppliers to maximize benefit to HoneywellBuild strong technical solutions including new technology, VA/VE, CE product and cost improvements with supply baseSupport the refresh of Mechanical COEs and IA/BA sourcing AOPs and strategic plansDrive world-class performance from supply baseWork with Category COE and IA/BA sourcing and procurement teams in Europe to achieve lowest total cost, continuous quality improvement, and on-time deliveryWork with global commodity leaders to assure a coordinated commodity strategy exists across the enterprise in EuropeEnsure global policy compliance Includes: Leverage Mechanical spend (volume) across Honeywell IA/BA in Europe to drive year-over-year savingsDrive supplier rationalization to preferred / best-in-class suppliers, lead supplier business reviews and manage supplier relationshipComplete and manage supplier contracts and multi-year agreementsOptimize working capital for the organization Secure supply by partnering with suppliers and IA/BA stakeholders to support demand and business growthImprove overall operational service levels to the businessYou Must Have Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or BusinessAt least 6 years of work experience in strategic sourcing and leading successful supplier negotiationsExperience in sourcing Mechanical commodities for Plastics and Packaging WE OFFER: A culture that fosters inclusion, diversity and innovationMarket specific training and ongoing personal developmentCareer growth opportunitiesExperienced leaders to support your professional developmentInternational work environment Equal opportunity statement We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
