You’ll act as a customer-facing engineer, working directly with customers / representatives at many of the biggest banks, investment managers, and other financial services businesses. This is what you’ll be doing day to day:Collaborating closely with Customer Support / Engineering / Product Management to ensure the availability and performance of our systems and the satisfaction of our customersSupporting the overall health, performance, and capacity of the production environmentBuilding tools to make our infrastructure more consistent, more reliable, more observable, and require less manual interventionPerforming real-time monitoring of systems for software/hardware errors, failures and capacity issues; troubleshoot, diagnose and fix problemsHelping the team create and maintain documentation and runbooks/playbooksRecommending improvements to the technologies we useParticipating in on call coverage rotation, providing leadership to all customer facing teams during incidentsThis is who you’ll be working with:Support Engineering and Customer Support colleagues in New York, London, Poland, and SingaporeThe Head of Support (who is based in Wroclaw, Poland)The Support Engineering Manager (who is based in Wroclaw, Poland)Where:The role can be based anywhere in Poland.
