We've been present in Poland since 2003 and our business office is located in Gdynia.We are currently looking for a highly motivated Senior System Integration Test Engineer to join our R&D team in Gdynia.Principle duties and essential functionsThe primary responsibility of the Senior System Integration Test Engineer will be to design and develop system integration tests for ADVA Optical Networking’s NMS product line:Ensemble Controller – a single management platform for advanced management of optical, Ethernet and sync networks used by many telecom companies across the world and it is developed in JAVA.We are using TeamCity, Intellij IDEA, VMware, PyCharm and QF-Test in everyday work.Other tasks and responsibilitiesWork together in ENC Infrastructure team delivering iteratively high quality softwareNMS server installation & upgrades, Fiber monitoring (ALM)Software upgrade and network elements configuration backup frameworksHigh availability solution supportInternal platform applicationsDesign and execute functional and non-functional tests; find right balance between manual or automated tests executionDocumentation and tracking of defects in the test/development management systemKnowledge, skills and experience requiredBachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication or similarGood written and spoken EnglishDesire and ability to gain new knowledgeStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated, teamwork oriented and well organizedExperience in software testing methodologiesOver 3 years of experience in scripting languages, preferably PythonOver 3 years of experience in usage of Linux OS (scripting, packets installation, etc.), ideally RHEL/CentOS/Alma Linux/Rocky LinuxCompensation & benefitsVery good salary and stable employment conditions based on an employment contract1 additional vacation day for all, and 1 extra after 10 years being with us3% employer contribution to PPKFlexible working hours and possible remote workEnglish lessons during working hoursInternal training program to support your training needsPaid employee referral programMultisport CardPrivate Health Care at Luxmed (extended package for employees and possibility to enroll family members)Strong team-oriented and friendly work culture Access to various sports activities and eventsModern office (well-equipped gym and playroom) close to the SKM/PKM stationsPopcorn FridaysHow we recruit in ADVA?Our recruitment process consists of 4 steps only!Apply via system (please attach your CV in English).
