Things you will do Implement and maintain deployment process of a robust, scalable and flexible data platform that is deployed both on-premises and in a variety of cloud environments and is based on Kubernetes and Hadoop stack.Be responsible for delivering the best deployment experience to customers. You will contribute to the development of software for supporting customers’ installation, upgrade, recovery from node failure, node scaling, system monitoring, and troubleshooting.Help us measure and improve reliability and performance of the data platform by working with product owners and engineering teams.Work collaboratively with multicultural engineering teams around the globe. Job requirements Basic:Experience in containers/container orchestration systems (Docker/Kubernetes)Experience in data platform software like Spark/HadoopExperience in programming in PythonGood knowledge of Linux operating systemExperience in public clouds (mostly AWS/Azure)Experience in IaC(Infrastructure as Code) tools like Ansible/TerraformExperience supporting enterprise-grade software products in the datacenters of large companies. You’ve done this successfully, many times.Experience building and maintaining data platforms that process huge amounts of data securely and efficiently on a variety of platforms such as on-premise, AWS and Azure. Good knowledge of English and Polish (both spoken and written) Preferred:Experience with deployment and administration of PostgreSQL in high availability setupExperience in troubleshooting networking issuesExperience in other build and automation tools such as Jenkins and Packer is a plusExperience in developing analytics, machine learning, distributed computing, and/or Big Data platforms is a plus. Job Details For employees from Warsaw:Hybrid work, with minimum of 2 days a week in the officeFor employees outside of Warsaw:2-4 week onboarding in Warsawthen monthly visits for 2-4 days in Warsawafter 6 months of cooperation, it will be possible to work 100% remotely The above remuneration was calculated based on the exchange rate 1USD = 4.45 PLN. The salary for this position is $ 80,000-100,000 per year.
