In your role as a Service Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects relating to technical infrastructure and internal company applications. You will draw on the professional expertise of our decentralized specialist teams, who will always actively support you in all your subject areas. In detail, you will take on the following tasks: Collaboration in 2 nd and 3rd level support (service desk, ticket system) Support in the operation of an installation of Open Text Service Manager Documentation of instructions and workarounds YOUR SKILLS - WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU Bachelor’s degree in IT or comparable qualification. Expertise in technical support on IT issues within the framework of 2 nd or 3rd level support Good knowledge of installing and configuring client systems under Windows and MacOS operating systems Know-how in the development and maintenance of cross-team operational documentation Ideally, initial experience in dealing with common Microsoft applications and services ( Active Directory, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint ) as well as with the Atlassian applications Jira & Confluence Knowledge of the ITIL framework You are also team- and service-oriented and have a committed way of working Sound knowledge of the following technologies: Network and firewalls Linux Server Windows Server Tomcat Server Oracle DB Open JDK F5 Loadbalancing Familiar with any programming or scripting languages (e.g. Java, C, PHP, Python, JavaScript )   Fluent in English (min. B2 Level) or German (min.
