Overview:The Site Quantity Surveyor position, reporting direct to Project Installation Manager and indirect to project manager will as a responsibility have:-Ensure the on field quality assurance on Signalling projects. -Ensure consistency between the project quality, delivery objectives and the customer’s satisfaction Specific responsibilities of the role: Responsible for verifying and validating the quantities claimed by Alstom’s Installation Suppliers Ensuring the coherence of the quantities claimed by Installation Suppliers with the contracts in force Verifying and validating Installation Suppliers daily/weekly/monthly works reports Creating monthly progress reports for the Customer with the quantities realised Monitoring the progress of the realised quantities on a monthly basis for the entire scope of the project. Providing support to Project Controller in Interim Payment Certificates ( IPC –works status) realization Qualifications & Experience Graduate engineering background, preferred with minimum 1 to 2 years experience in the railway industry or technical background with 5 years experience in the railway industry. IT literate (Office suite – e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Languages English good / French or Italian language spoken will be an advantage.
