About the roleWe are looking for a driven SRE that enjoys working with the latest technologies and that is passionate about real-time scalable systems and does not back away from challenges. You will be here to develop and create innovative solutions and solve real-time client challenges, collaborating in a distributed international team. Responsibilities Develop Jenkins jobs, new services, and automate surrounding processesAutomate actions that should be performed more than a couple of times (Everything as code approach). Automate build, test and deployment processes and pipelinesThe architecture improvement of the maintained services to optimize costs and make it more fault-tolerantRespond to incidents and participate in root cause analysisDo research about the best observability approaches in the industry and how to implement them. Create documentation for implemented solutionsShare the knowledge and best practices with colleagues, participate in tech talks (optional)Monitor the quality of service, reliability, availability and security of our productsPerform post-mortem analyses after incidents and monitor reported incidents to identify critical trendsIn charge of deployment, maintenance and any on-call responsibilities associated with the system in productionMaintain services to meet service-level-agreements (SLAs) or service-level-objective (SLOs) by measuring and monitoring availability, performance, and overall system healthDesign procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenanceImprove reliability by designing and building sustainable and fault-tolerant systemsMeasure the performance of the infrastructure and anticipate issues before it’d impact customers  Key Skills3+ years of experience as a System Administrator/DevOps/SRE engineerStrong Linux administration (rpm-based) and troubleshooting skillsStrong experience in automation development and configuration management Good understanding of Site Reliability Engineering approaches and practicesExperience in building CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins jobsExperience in Kubernetes/Docker/Helm will be a plusCoding/scripting experience, Shell and PythonExperience in debugging and automating routine tasksGood understanding of general infrastructure areas – compute, storage, networkExperience with modern software development life-cycleExperience with version control systemsPro-active approach to learning about and adapting to new technologiesFluent EnglishExcellent verbal and written communication skillsYou have the ability to deal with uncertainty and handle pressure whilst solving problems and conflicts Preferred SkillsExperience with provisioning and configuration management using Gitlab and TerraformGit source control using Gitlab Experience with AWS - AWS CLI, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Route53, VPC, CloudFront, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, IAM, ADFSVideo Streaming knowledgeUnderstanding of the build and operation of websites Experience of best practices to support always-on mission critical systemsAppreciation of the business processes and their importanceKnowledge of agile software development philosophiesExperience with JIRA and ConfluenceExperience working in Redis, Kafka Jenkins, Gitlab, MySQL, Containers is a big plus We are looking for intellectually curious people, passionate about the bigger picture of how technology industry is evolving, ready to ask difficult questions and deal with complicated scenarios.
