The team is accountable for the design, implementation, deployments, maintenance and uptime, with a constant focus on quality, security and cost efficiency.Collaborate with other peer groups and roles to transpose business requirements into feature specs, establish integration design, resolve dependencies and adopt best-practices.Share knowledge via mentoring, presentations, blogs and conference.Research, prototype and stay up to date with the evolution of the industry.Perform on-call activities, on rotation with the rest of the team.What you need to succeedBS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience, 5+ years of commercial software development experienceProven development skills in Java / Scala with confirmed experience of writing clear, high-quality and well-documented code for building high-scale, high-performance and secure services.Experience in RDBMS & NOSQL databases, web services, micro-services, REST, OOD, SLC, CI/CD, source control tools, DevOps principles, observability. Familiarity with distributed computing systems, Cloud infrastructures, Spark, Akka, Kafka, Kubernetes, is a huge plus!Adaptable to changing priorities, accepting challenges, learning new technologies, prototyping new ideas, delivering viable solutions within defined time boundaries.
