Location: Zalau / Cluj-Napoca - RomaniaLanguage: EnglishIT tools: good MO skills (especially Excel), previous use of ERP tools (SAP) Profile of the ideal candidate: relational skills (ability to persuade and convince others, excellent negotiation and argumentation skills, ability to interact with people at any level, create and maintain network) leadership to implement internal procurement projects, external benchmarks as well as manage the day by day purchasing and correlated activities able to adapt fast to our domain/ products and services, ability to understand and respond to internal and external client needs and achieve mastery in service delivery. personal commitment, tenacity and energy, good problem solving skills in order to achieve results efficiently. able to work under pressure and to tackle multiple subjects at the time ( multitasking) good analytical skills. previous experience in logistics Aim of the position Purchases in due time industrial services, and not only, from approved suppliers, optimizing the purchasing cycle, maximizing quality, minimizing costs through use of competitive bidding, eAuctions, opportunity assessments, spend analysis, ensuring that purchase orders and contracts comply with all specifications. Responsibilities Establish a proper workplan considering business priorities, vendor and end user criticalities. Understand the market where operations take place, the sourcing process and its technicalities. Assess the market to define the eligible vendor list which complies with quality and safety policies and have a strong financial situation. Provide accurate information to supplier, verifying technical specifications with the end user. Purchase the best product or services, offering the best value-for-money in the market, by assessing economic and technical information on the proposal submitted by each supplier. Provide key data based on numerical analysis for decision making. Carry out the management control process, detect deviations and implement improvement actions. Ensure fulfilment of Purchase Orders and Contracts and define the Logistics of the products such as maritime, land or air transportation. Seek purchasing cycle improvement by developing new or alternative products or services, and suppliers, maximizing quality and minimizing costs, lead times and liabilities for Clients.
