Description :Security Automation EngineerAbout the Business Area:The Chief Security Office (CSO) at Deutsche Bank, comprising the Chief Information Security Office (CISO) and the Corporate Security unit, ensures the bank's information security. By implementing various projects to support Information Security teams and automate their processes, the CISO organization aims to enhance operational efficiency and maintain compliance with Deutsche Bank policies at a technical level.About the Role:Deutsche Bank seeks a Security Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves pivotal projects within our company and our worldwide business network, focusing on automation and integration efforts to support the CSO. The successful candidate will develop and deliver digital workers to automate the processing of security incidents, significantly reducing the response and recovery time for cyber incidents, thereby optimizing the operations team's efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Threat Intelligence Infrastructure: Maintain and enhance the infrastructure that supports threat intelligence gathering and dissemination. Ensure robust, scalable, and secure architecture for threat intelligence operations.DevOps Practices: Employ DevOps practices to streamline the deployment, testing, and operation of threat intelligence tools and systems. Ensure continuous integration and delivery of threat intelligence capabilities.Automation of Intelligence Collection: Develop and implement automation strategies for threat intelligence collection, processing, and dissemination. Create scripts and tools to automate routine tasks and enable more efficient threat analysis.Configuration of Threat Feeds: Configure and manage threat intelligence feeds from various external and internal sources. Ensure that threat data is timely, relevant, and accurately integrated into the organization's threat intelligence platform.Custom Integration: Develop custom integrations between various cybersecurity tools and platforms to enhance the organization's threat intelligence capabilities. Work on integrating disparate systems for a cohesive intelligence analysis and response framework.Operational Support and Improvement: Provide ongoing operational support for threat intelligence tools and systems. Continuously assess and improve the threat intelligence infrastructure based on evolving threats, technological advances, and business needs.Job Requirements:Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.Professional Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on automation and integration within a corporate security environment.Technical Proficiency: Experience with security automation tools Familiarity with security technologies (SIEM, SOAR and Threat Intel platforms) and APIs for integration.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the skill to articulate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.Innovative Thinking: A problem-solving mindset, with a creative approach to overcoming challenges and improving processes.Team Collaboration: Proven experience working in cross-functional teams and contributing to a collaborative work environment.Compliance and Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of information security standards, data protection laws, and compliance requirements relevant to the financial industry.Our values define the working environment we strive to create – diverse, supportive and welcoming of different views.
