By joining EC, you will have the unique opportunity to work on AECOM’s monumental projects located around the world, contributing to our purpose of delivering a better world.Minimum Requirements Have experience (7 – 9 years minimum) in engineering design teams for major water/wastewater engineering infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects. Project Management experience will be an advantage. Familiarity with Europe Water Industry practices. Designing and creating assembly drawings, PFD, P&ID, including Bill of Materials for WWTP or Drinking WTP. Technical analysis for equipment selection, including negotiation with vendors. Detailed pipe, hydraulic calculation and equipment sizing, and general plant design. Demonstrable track record in the delivery of large water/wastewater projects such as wastewater treatment plants or large pipelines. Knowledge of current design management processes. Understanding of BIM and its application in the water industry Attending workshops and generating action lists (and their follow-up). Effective in building good working relationships within complex structures both within projects, with clients, and internally. The successful candidate will also be able to mobilize people and teams and drive for a successful delivery. Making Decisions and Solving Problems — Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems. In-depth experience in water and wastewater network modeling. Previous experience in the development of water and wastewater master plans. Experience in 3D modeling systems using REVIT will be an advantage. Basic knowledge of pipe supports design. Experience with European and/or American Standards and Codes will be an advantage. Ability to communicate effectively and clearly. Ability to interface with other disciplines. Problem-solving skills and finding the most suitable solutions for our clients. Concern for the improvement of professional training. Responsibility, conscientiousness, rigor in carrying out tasks, and self-motivated. Cooperation with other colleagues, teamwork. Good verbal and written communication skills in English are required. Other software skills (AutoCAD 2D, 3D, Autodesk Plant 3D) will be an advantage. Preferred Qualifications Degree in Engineering (BSc or MSc in Hydromechanics, Civil, Mechanical, or equivalent Engineering field).
