Statistical Operations Specialist in Bucuresti

About This Job:

As a Statistical Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our data. You will be responsible for maintaining the extrapolation of a country, analysing key quality indicators, and implementing improvements based on findings from various sources. You will also ensure database management for a country. Your work will support our Client Operations team in resolving methodology-related issues and contribute to the standardisation of processes.

Responsibilities 

  • Build Knowledge of GfK Tools: learn to use internal tools and platforms
  • Data Review: understand the data management process and work effectively within it. Carry out quality check analysis to spot suspicious deviations in the data received from retailers, in all the phases of the process.
  • Retailer panel Management: maintain up-to-date the retailers information in our systems
  • Query Handler: ability to investigate and resolve data queries raised by clients or the internal Market Intelligence (MI) team. 
  • Cross-department communication: Maintaining relationships internally with colleagues from Client Service, Retail Service and the hub
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in statistical operations, quality assurance, and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • “Can do” attitude and ability to find solutions independently
