Skills:
- Minimun 3 years experience in the field of computer systems;
- Knowledge of SQL and experience with at least one database management system (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.);
- Able to:
– Develop reconciliation scripts for migration data validation between source systems and target system with new data model based on “expected data to be compared”;
– Develop scripts for data validation and cleansing using SQL and PL/SQL to evaluate data quality in the source systems;
– Maintain Migration Databases in terms of preparing schemes for new migration;
– Import/export data for test purposes;
– Maintain Databases Passwords;
– Flawless running in terms of performance;
– Load and available space monitoring.
Responsabilitites:
- Perform source system data analysis to manage source to target data mapping;
- Assist in designing, planning and managing the data migration process;
- Assist in data migration plans including volume details and scheduling;
- Perform data migration audit, SQL reconciliation scripts and exception reporting;
- Oracle PL/SQL fine tuning to avoid system bottleneck;
- Analyzing the transforming methods, existing data format for the new environment and the loading of this data into another DB;
- Work across multiple functional projects to understand data usage and implications for data migration.
