Job descriptionThe Solution Engineering Group performs all system engineering activities for the realization of a command & control system on board of naval ships.Job BriefAs a System Architect, you work in an international multidisciplinary team on the design, development, and validation of a command & control system. Your team consists of representatives of the customer, suppliers of subsystems, and other parties involved. In the team, you are responsible for the technical design.ResponsibilitiesDiscuss operational needs together with the customerDesign the architecture of the command & control systemDefine the functional behavior of the systemDefine the architecture of the solutionManage technical issues of subcontracts during the development of the Mission SolutionDemonstrate the solution to the customer.ProfileAbout youDegree in engineering, computer science, aerospace engineering, or a similar fieldMinimum 15 years of relevant experienceNaval / Aero / Defense experience is a mustKnowledge of MBSE /Requirements Engineering such as Doors / CapellaGeneralist, with a broad interest in technologyCommunication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams High level of creativity, initiative, pragmatism, and persuasivenessFluency in spoken and written English (Dutch/German - nice to have)Maximum 2 days a week home office.
