Inviting Applications for Tail Spend Buyer PTP –Manager – English – Remote Emea PURPOSE OF THE JOB:·Lead and execute sourcing and buying activities of a specific category for tactical buying.·Support internal stakeholders throughout the purchasing activities related to Indirect spend. ·Collaborate with suppliers in regard to the registration, sourcing or delivery questions related to tactical buying for Indirect spend·Analyze tactical buying purchases and opportunities. Responsibilities:·Develop strong collaboration with respective BU Function stakeholders in order to proactively and effectively understand and capture customer’s needs and timelines.·Partner with country and group procurement teams for smooth sourcing activities for tactical buying for Indirect spend.·Partner with suppliers ensuring timely on-boarding on Ariba Network·Identify and implement improvement initiatives,·Ensures full utilization of existing tools and technology.·Cooperate with other related parties, peers and seek external benchmark to propose further efficiencies, best practices and improvements.·Negotiations related to categories in scope·Manage supplier relationship·Support supply base management: vendor registration in Ariba and final activation in SAP.·Support Functions with Best Practice recommendations and sourcing process guidance, in line with existing processes, and/or via new solutions that drive innovation.·Ensure that all sourcing and buying decisions are in line with Policies and Guidelines and all required approvals/ signs off are obtained in a timely manner.·Use of available procurement tools & systems for procurement process execution, proper documentation, contract management and reporting.·Ensure & follow-up actions regarding compliance and audit.·Deliver management reporting and analyses.·Service level KBIs achieved.·Handle process exceptions (manage, analyze, report).·Identify and implement improvement initiative.·Identify and implement best practices among company countries.·Ensure that our policies are adhered to (e.g. approvals, contract compliance, procurement guidelines etc.).
