Team Leader Java + DevOps in Constanţa

Rate: Up to 1520 PLN net per day (B2B contract). 100 % remotely. New project being developed in the green field approach – there’s no maintenance or legacy code. This is a unique opportunity to work on a critical and operationally complex high-performance product that also interacts with several of mission critical products.    The selected candidate will be expected to lead and mentor other developers on the team and provide technical guidance to team working in association with team members and the product architect. The candidate will be a highly motivated individual and a self-starter, able to work on complex scenarios. Must have: Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS or GCP, Kubernetes, OpenShift) . Possess skills in any of the automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Python . Experience in Java – backend (SOAP, REST, Lambda Expressions). Spring Framework. Experience with CI&CD (TeamCity, Maven, GIT). Junit, Mockito, Spock, Groovy or other testing tools / frameworks. Good communication skills in English, written and verbal. Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle management (Agile/SCRUM methodology). Key selling points: The new product as well as a team being build ground up – there’s no “old team” who keeps all the decisions within their umbrella.
