Tech Lead - Java + AWS in Constanţa

For our client, an international healthcare company, we are looking for a talented specialist for the position of RPM Technical lead / Lead backend developer with strong Java and AWS knowledge. Candidate’s profile: 1. Talented Technical leader with familiarity in developing cloud-based solutions 2. With solid understanding of Java, cloud technologies and frameworks 3. Experienced in the Agile development environment 4. Expected to drive technical discussions within and outside the team; to collaborate with other leaders & architects on a daily basis 5. English at level B1/B2 Responsibilities: - Design, develop and maintain Spring based applications, using Java and utilizing AWS technologies such as ECS, EKS, S3, RDS, SQS - Write automated tests to ensure code quality and correctness - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, front-end developers, operations engineers to develop and deliver scalable, maintainable and secure solutions - Analyzing, planning and refining of new features with the team and product owners to maximize product value. - Implement best practices for code quality, performance, security, and scalability - Continuously improve the reliability, performance, and scalability of applications and services - Debug and troubleshoot complex issues that arise in cloud environments, utilizing logs, metrics, monitoring tools and intuition - Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers to ensure code quality Min. commercial experience: 5 years Must have: AWS, Java, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Github Stack: - AWS, Kubernetes, Sonar, Whitesource, jFrog, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Docker - Java 11, Spring (Boot, Cloud), JUnit 5, Hibernate, Maven, Gradle, Flyway, NodeJS (for Lambda), Checkstyle, ADR - Angular, Redux, React (some components) Nice to have: -       Familiarity with DevOps best practices and tools to improve development experience. -       Experience with Agile/Scrum/SAFe. -       Experience with Angular framework. -       Experience with async architecture and messaging patterns. -       Be up to date with modern languages, technologies, and best practices related to software engineering. -       Familiarity with healthcare domain and data protection standards (GDPR, HIPAA).   Recruitment process: - technical screening by someone from the SQ1 technical checkers - project manager interview; and interview with someone from the product team
