To be successful for this role, you will need to be analytical and a problem solver with excellent communication skills.As a Technical Packaging Specialist we will help you become an expert on customization executions, packaging materials and structures. You will own tasks & processes that ensure best in class executions for structures, materials and cost minimization. You will contribute to savings, innovation, reapplication, standardization and complexity reduction.The Technical Packaging Specialist works closely with the Customization Initiatives and Artwork teams and is the main contact for the co-packer and suppliers and is ultimately accountable for the quality of the manipulation from co-packing to consumer, including transport and warehousing.Job responsibilities: Creates Packaging Instructions and updates technical specifications. Gives technical advice, proposes the best alternative of material, structures and configuration, taking into consideration previous executions, brand requests, market needs, cost and feasibility. Determines volumetric and logistic data and prepares the optimal palletization, considering customer or law restrictions. Prepares ‘Standard Sample’ (prototype) before start of manipulation and asks for approval. Share and reapply out of the box and best ideas to improve current executions. Job Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required Very good speaking and writing English command Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel Collaboration skills and ability to build relationship with different teams Good level of discipline to ensure efficiency in using the relevant tools and maintaining all the different operating systems. Fast learner and interested in developing technical expertise in aspects regarding packing materials and manipulations (carton, corrugated board, lab tests, printing processes).
