Description and Requirements
The Senior Manager will lead a technical presales support team, carrying full responsibility of ensuring operational excellence, and driving a scalable service model that supports Sales, Technical Sales and Reseller Partners across EMEA.
This role plays a critical part in Lenovo’s EMEA transformation, requiring senior leadership, structured operational management, cross-team influence and the ability to stabilize and grow a team.
What you will do:
Lead, and develop a performance-driven, diverse team, defining clear operating models, roles, metrics, and processes aligned with Lenovo leadership behaviorsEnsure operational excellence across all countries served, consistently meeting SLAs, productivity targets, quality standards, and customer satisfaction goalsManage EMEA-wide workload and ticketing systems, supported by robust operational routines and continuous improvement practicesAct as a senior liaison with EMEA Sales and Technical Sales leadership to ensure alignment on priorities, escalation management, and opportunity coverageProvide structured presales support to innovation and architecture teams, ensuring high-quality technical outputs including configurations, sizing, validations, RFP inputs, and solution guidanceDrive standardization through effective use of tools, methodologies, and best practices, contributing to the evolution of service catalogues and knowledge assetsLead innovation initiatives, including the integration of automation and AI into presales workflows to improve efficiency and scalabilityFoster a strong people culture by partnering with enabling functions and promoting engagement, learning, and performance across the organization
What we look for:
Senior leadership experience managing technical, presales or shared-service teams in an international environmentStrong operational management skills with a track record of driving quality, service excellence, and productivity improvementsSolid technical understanding of enterprise datacenter technologies: server, storage, SDI, HCI and EdgeAbility to influence cross-functional stakeholders at senior level and operate in a matrix environmentExcellent communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
Background in technical presales or systems engineeringExperience working with reseller partners as well as customer-facing teamsFamiliarity with Lenovo presales tools and processesExperience supporting new team ramp-up/transition
