Contribute to our success by:
•Reviews, and when appropriate, accepts and prioritizes feedback and new requirements from stakeholders (like PM) for creation and maintenance of the product backlog (User Stories, Bugs for the product backlog, as well as Epics)
•Monitors QA process and has full ownership on tasks and Bugs resolutions;
•The PO should rely on the Team for defining the technical User stories and acceptance criteria.
•Prioritizes the product backlog items so that a product’s business value is maximized.
•Attends the Agile meetings.
•In cases where other role is not available (as SM/ Team lead), the PO could be accountable to organize all Scrum Meetings.
•Is available to the team at least 80% of the time.
•Clarifies questions so that the team knows exactly what is expected.
•Assists the UX Designer in creating wireframes/mockups/prototypes/ visual handouts.
•In the case where no UX/UI role is available, the PO should take concrete steps to express the usability or interface design requirements.
•Driving and managing the Scrum iteration by:
a.preparing the stories
b.prioritizing them based on velocity/ capacity
c.accepting/ rejecting them
d.starting/ accepting/ cancelling the sprint.
•Has a deep understanding of end users.
•.Defines with the PM and owns the product roadmap and prioritization of features and functionality
•Manages JIRA backlog & coordinate its timely implementation
•Works together with the SM for solving the team's impediments, difficulties, needs, to protect and ensure the sprint goal is achieved.
•Inspires and motivates the development teams to deliver innovative and exciting solutions with an appropriate sense of urgency
•Risk management: Identifies, keeps track and informs the PM/SH of the project risks by any method at hand (scenarios/ risk board/ risk screening etc.)
•Partners with internal departments to coordinate, document and communicate product development process and release lifecycle
