We've been present in Poland since 2003 and our business office is located in Gdynia. We are currently looking for a highly motivated Technical Services Engineer CTAC to join our CTAC team. Principle duties and essential functions The members of CTAC (Central Technical Assistance Center) are characterized by broad technical knowledge about all ADTRAN products and technologies as well as by close relationships with ADTRAN customers and very good understanding of their networks. By applying high technical and analytical skills and by working hand in hand with TAC-3 (Product Experts) and R&D (Research and Development), the members of CTAC guide the customers through troubleshooting and recovery processes in order to solve and prevent any network faults (friendly 24/7/365 shift system). Other tasks and responsibilitiesProviding engineering-level phone and email technical assistance to ADTRAN’s customers and partnersSharing knowledge and experience via coaching, internal training and regular contribution to Knowledge BaseAdministration and maintenance of equipment, applications and tools used for support purposesPossibility to join and lead customer facing activities Knowledge, skills, and experience requiredTechnical knowledge: wireless local area network (Wi-Fi) standard (IEEE 802.11), gateways and mesh extender, IP telephony protocols (VoIP), passive optical networks (PON) and their components, OSI and TCP/IP models along with an understanding of routing and switching, network management and troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds, Plume, etc.), experience with ADTRAN products such as SmartRG, NetVanta, MOSAIC, or n-Command MSPExperience in providing remote (phone and email based) technical support in telecom environmentField experience in installing, commissioning, testing and maintenance of telecom equipmentPeople willing to gain new knowledge, work well with a team, and eager to build good relations with external customersVery good language skills in written and spoken English are essential * All new employees will be provided with comprehensive technical, job-specific and language training.
