Join Siemens Energy as you take the lead in preparing proposals and executing comprehensive engineering solutions for Control and Protection Systems within our Digital Grid Portfolio. Imagine engaging directly with customers alongside the Grid Technologies Sales team, while building and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders at Siemens Energy, end users, and EPCs. You will collaborate with international partners and work within a diverse, multinational team, all while owning the execution of projects and managing profit and loss responsibilities.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Review tender documentation and customer specifications to understand project drivers, preparing Bid – No Bid documentation and securing authorization to bid. Compile high-quality proposal documentation that aligns with customer requirements and internal procedures. Attend pre-tender clarification meetings to ensure full understanding of scope, collaborating closely with Engineering, Procurement, and Commercial functions. Clarify and review all supplier and subcontractor inputs to ensure consistency with tender requirements and coordinate all interfaces. Develop price calculations based on internal estimates and supplier prices, ensuring margins align with business targets while maintaining visibility of bid progress throughout the tender process. Coordinate the preparation of the Proposal letter, Calculation Sheet, Cashflow, Limits of Authorization, Procurement Schedule, and Risk Register. Obtain management approval per signature protocols and internal requirements, while ensuring clear visibility of bid progress and keeping management informed of key events throughout the tender process.Execution of projects secured, relying on the technical support of Digital Grid segment of reference, but bearing full responsibility of the financial results. What You Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Power Engineering.Over 3 years of experience in sales and/ or project execution with the End users and/ or EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) companies in proposal management.The ability to make independent decisions and recommendations to management considering all risks and opportunities and to show leadership whilst doing so.The ability to lead and coordinate proposal team and drive proposal preparation process.Proficiency in both oral and written English and in Microsoft Office suite.
