Scope of the role: The role of the Trade Analyst is to offer support to and complete the Controlling function of the region in managing the overall business monitoring activities, as well as ensure the minimum control requirements around contracts and counterparties. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working junior professional able to work diligently under pressure, with a critical eye and able to work on the implementation of internal controls. This person will be comfortable with working in a developing environment, implementing all applicable policies and procedures and identify effective ways to achieve better controls around trade operations. Job Responsibilities: Ensure data integrity in the Commercial system (by validating the input from Contract Administration and compliance of business confirmations with internal rules) Contracts monitoring and follow-up reports (open exposure, settlement of contracts, pricing of contracts, cost calculations, signing of contracts, etc) Review hedging of commercial contracts and calculate/allocate the fx effect appropriately Issuing periodic reports on contracts and counterparty details / portfolio, internally as well as to Group departments Support with periodical revision and implementation of necessary changes to contract templates Support with proper administration of the front-end system and functionalities related to contracts, products, classifications, contract markers, INCOTERMS, reports, etc. Management of guarantees issued for contracts (promissory notes, protocols, etc.) – follow-up with Contract Admins and Treasury dept. Contract’s cancellation/partial settlement validation as well as appropriate escalation to senior management when approvals required Support the regional business controllers in the daily activity, according to allocated tasks and daily reporting requirements (including assuming the backup function for certain activities) Support and train the Contract Admin teams from Central Europe in their daily activities Ensure compliance and implementation of COFCO Policies and procedures as per company guidelines Other tasks as assigned by direct line manager or regional management/Group functions, relevant for the position and job requirements Requirements: Education in Treasury/Finance area or related studies Minimum 2 years’ experience in Finance-related departments in a multi-national company, in a trade support / controlling / analyst position Experience with ERP/IT systems Previous experience or knowledge of trading/agribusiness industry Proficient in MS Office Proficient English speaker, Romanian native Good time management skills Accurate, on-time deliverables Strong in respecting deadlines and prioritizing tasks Analytical, pragmatic person
