At our office in Karlsruhe, we are looking to fill the following position in the Software Engineering and IT Coordination department at the earliest possible date: IT Project Manager (m/f/d) Grade A12 LBesO / pay grade 11 TVöD, reference number: V 545.23 Your main responsibilities: You will manage IT projects, primarily change projects in collaboration with specialist departments within the company and external parties Provide impetus for KVBW's multi-project management and participate in digitization projects to ensure the future viability of a public insurance company Identification of optimization potentials Conception of project proposals with the aim of increasing efficiency, reducing risk and/or complying with legal requirements Presentation of project proposals to decision-making bodies and operational management of projects Estimation of project-related and ongoing investment requirements as well as necessary in-house personnel requirements, based on the target definition of the respective project Conception of solution approaches for resulting problems and coordination with the relevant decision-makers Creation of specifications for the introduction of new software products and support of the software selection process from the beginning to the successful introduction Close exchange with in-house software development and the IT infrastructure department We expect the following from you: A degree from a university of applied sciences, ideally in the field of business informatics or comparable IT-related courses of study Several years of professional experience in the implementation of change and modernization projects in the IT environment Business fluent in German (language level C2) Further training and certifications in standardized project management procedures are an advantage, but not a prerequisite Committed demeanor and negotiating skills as well as quick comprehension skills The ability to motivate those around you and inspire them with new ideas A confident analytical approach to figures and data as well as target group-oriented presentations Flexibility and openness to changing framework parameters Confident appearance in front of all stakeholders of KVBW and its partner companies We offer you: Good starting conditions through intensive training Task-related, needs-oriented further training (personnel development program) Independent work in a challenging and responsible, interesting and varied working environment and subject area A modern office building in the heart of Karlsruhe with optimal connections to the local transport network A travel allowance for the use of public transportation The opportunity to work from home after the induction phase All the benefits of a modern employer (flexible and family-friendly working time model, health management, bonus system) For technical questions, please contact Mr. Zirzow from the Software Engineering and IT Coordination department (0721/5985-645) or Ms. Groß from the Human Resources department (0721/5985-812).
