Category Manager (1 year contract - contractor)- - - - - - - - - - - -The Category Manager Will:Support the Development of Customer Category Plans– Leverage a deep understanding of Category Management principles, shopper and Category knowledge, and customers’ strategies to help the KAM develop customer specific Category plans. Partner in the execution of fact-based Category plans by leveraging Category Management tactics (assortment optimization, promotional analysis, mix management, etc.), insights, the SAVE model, and customer/Michelin operational knowledge.Become the Customer’s Tire Category Trusted Advisor– Build credibility and trust with your customer(s) by proactively and objectively advising on category, relevant industry, and shopper trends that enable them to successfully navigate current and future Category shifts.Lead with Insights– Leverage impactful Category, industry, customer, and shopper data as the foundation for all analyses. Leverage relevant and actionable insights to expand Category understanding and development of initiatives.Leverage Analytics to Develop Solutions– Demonstrate a high level of data analysis, problem solving, and analytical skills in the development of actionable solutions. Deliver compelling recommendations that influence the customers’ decision-making process and result in net profitable outcomes. Demonstrate expertise in Category Management tools and capabilities. Scorecard results and provide recommendations to address performance issues.Build Leadership and Cross Functional Skills– Engage in customer calls, address customer requests, and support Michelin’s customer centric culture. Leverage strong internal collaboration skill with Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain to successfully develop and activate initiatives.Deliver Results– Support KAM in the delivery of customer/Michelin’s sales targets.
