The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with audit teams to extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources, with a specific emphasis on SAP systems. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a seasoned data professional to contribute significantly to our audit processes and enhance our risk management capabilities. How You’ll Make an Impact: Extract, clean, and analyze data from diverse sources, focusing on SAP systems, to support audit testing and analysisCollaborate with internal audit teams to understand audit objectives and identify data requirements, particularly within SAP environmentsDesign and conduct complex data-driven audit tests to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, identify potential risks, and detect anomaliesUtilize advanced data analysis techniques and statistical methodologies to extract meaningful insights from large and complex datasets and support the Assurance Team to interpret and refine the results of the analytics providedWork closely with auditors to interpret data findings and effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersPresent key insights to stakeholders and management using advanced visualization tools and promote the data analytics capabilities to the Assurance team globallyEnsure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data throughout the analysis processCollaborate with the internal audit team to identify areas where data analytics can enhance the effectiveness of audit procedures and continuously enhance and optimize data analytics methodologies, ensuring they remain relevant, efficient, and aligned with best practices.What You Bring Proven experience as a Data Analyst, with a strong preference for expertise in SAP (ECC and S/4 HanaUniversity degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, Finance, Mathematic or a related fieldProficiency in data analytics and visualization tools such as SQL, Snowflake, Alteryx, Tableau, Python or R. Strong knowledge of data extraction techniques, data modelling, statistical analysis, and data visualization best practicesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detailAbility to collaborate effectively within a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple assignments concurrentlyGood awareness of machine learning concepts to identify potential use casesExcellent communication skills to convey complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Familiarity with audit methodologies, risk assessment, and compliance frameworks is advantageous.
