Responsibilities Defines the control processes and associated resources to ensure the reliability of the available control means and the necessary adjustments according to the results;Performs dimensional measurements on prototype mechanical parts for the Mechanical Engineering Department;Provides expertise on the craft during the audit or dimensional non-conformity analysis;Ensure the quality of the metrology means;Advise customers in the execution of measurement requests and negotiation of deadlines;Ensures the connection of the measuring instruments in the sector to the calibration chain;Carries out measurements in compliance with metrology standards and quality norms;Programs 3D measuring instruments;Evaluates measurement uncertainties;Records and validates measurement results;Alerts customers of non-conformities, if applicable;Participates in the development and evolution of metrology instructions;Performs, if necessary, verification of parts or sub-assemblies;Ensures metrological inspections of checking fixtures. Qualifications Higher technical studies in Mechanical Engineering / Metrology;Good knowledge of machining, assembly, testing, design;Good knowledge of measurement techniques;Knowledge of mechanical components (engine or gearbox);Computer operating skills;Advanced knowledge of English and/or French;Good knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes, especially machining;Good knowledge of metrological means.
