This role is central to the success of our Purchasing division, as such you will be a highly focused, results driven individual with demonstrable experience of managing change, process improvement, and achieving organizational profitability. You will have experience of leading and developing others both within your direct responsibility and within the wider organization. You will be self-motivated and a confident decision maker, used to working autonomously within set guidelines. You will have experience of driving supplier performance improvements through a collaborative approach, involving other internal stakeholders when necessary. Position would ideally suit someone from a wholesale/distribution or FMCG background.Skill Sets Required include:Advanced Excel skillsEmpowermentEngagementDriveProfit OrientatedProcess Mapping and ImprovementCollaboration within the wider organizationInfluencing skillsChange AgentESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the effective management of the Purchasing team.Review and Monitor Fill Rate performance with a view to identifying process improvements including any root cause of failure.Ensure supplier details and pricing are maintained effectively identifying any opportunities for profit enhancement.Define, develop, and provide regular reporting as required by the Business.
