Preferred Qualifications

 

 

We are seeking a senior analyst to join our Global Sales Operations team and help drive key strategic initiatives for the company. In this role you will analyze business trends, present your findings to management and use your business acumen to solve problems, make recommendations and optimize business processes.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain high-level knowledge by staying current on initiatives, challenges and opportunities across lines of business. Develop an understanding of critical business performance drivers and associated risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare and review relevant operational and financial analyses comparing actuals to forecasts and trends over time. Understand and create schedules that bridge these scenarios.
  • Assist with the operational and financial presentations to executive management and the preparation of quarterly reporting schedules. Provide periodic and ad-hoc analyses and reporting in support of executive management.
  • Assist with other special projects, including system implementations and standardization efforts.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor degree in Data Science, Economics or Finance with 8+ years relevant work experience.
  • Passionate about defining measurement frameworks, data visualization, and reporting to guide business growth and outcomes.
  • Able to synthesize and analyze large quantities of data to create useful information and concise analyses.
  • Able to effectively manage projects; results oriented with a “roll-up the sleeves” attitude in order to accomplish necessary tasks.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence platforms and a high level of proficiency in Excel and SQL.
  • Able to identify and prioritize multiple requirements and manage expectations accordingly.
  • Able to effectively communicate with upper management and build strong working relationships with other operational and finance teams as well as offshore resources.

 

 

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

 

 

Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization*s financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.

Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. For this, relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills. 8 plus years relevant work experience.
