If you are passionate about leading from where you sit, join us. The OpportunityThis position is for a key contributor who will architect the next generation of services for Adobe’s Experience Platform Identity Services - a foundational component & unique differentiator for Adobe Digital Experience. Identity Services builds identity graphs that links identities across devices and channels, to create a holistic consumer profile for marketing & analytics. Identity Services processes billions of online events and CRM records each day to build its identity graphs. This is a once is a lifetime opportunity for engineers to solve really interesting challenges of scale and build core services that are used by all Adobe Digital Experience solutions. As part of building these services, you will work with an extraordinarily talented and collaborative team, tackle big data challenges using the latest technologies, design innovative algorithmic solutions and build highly scalable, low latency services. What you will do:Define the architecture for identity resolution at scale for batch & real-time graph computationwith a focus onhigh availability, low latency, andscalability. Take ownership and partner with multi-functional professionals (Product Management, Design, etc.) to create customer-focused solutions. Standardize methodologies, eloquent ideas, & market them across teams and organizations. Prototype innovative approaches and production solutions at scale. Collaborate closely with other engineers as a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional team. Work in an environment that supports your individual growth and continuous learning.Interact with senior leadership for alignment on architectural approaches for new initiatives. Hands-on software development Be a technical leader with the ability and desire to mentor other members of the team. What you need to succeed:Proven experience as an Architect or Technical Lead; validated ability of experience developing in Java OR Scala. Bachelor's in computer scienceor related field. Strong grasp of algorithms and data structures. Proven experience building large scale real-time & batch data processing systems using big data technologies. Strong understanding of the Digital Marketing domain or an inclination to understand the business that drives the engineering work. Under-the-hood knowledge of technologies such as Spark, Flink & Kafka. Experience in working with infrastructure, i.e. cloud providers, containers, orchestrators, VM/Bare metal deployments, is a plus. Proven experience in regards to observability, i.e. monitoring, logging, tracing, etc. Proficient in best practices for writing code that is maintainable and secure. Problem-solving skills, ability to investigate to find the root of the problem. Experience mentoring junior engineers. Experience presenting at conferences.
