Analytics Engineer in Bucuresti

Role purpose: The Analytics Engineer is responsible for a number of key engineering processes and areas within the Autonomics and Analytics Architecture Domain, including: Day to day engineering management and maintenance of the Operational Analytics platform currently deployed on Splunk. Day to day engineering management and maintenance of the Management Analytics platform currently deployed on GCP (Google Cloud Platform). Manage the on boarding of Local Markets to our Operational and Management Analytics platforms. Collaboration with offshore Engineering teams (in Cairo COEs) to assess Demands and develop High Level Designs (HLDs) for those demands that spawn Complex Projects. Collaborate with the Product, Program and Architecture teams within the Autonomics and Analytics Domain to ensure efficient and effective delivery of Analytical solutions the whole of TSS. Attend, contribute to and submit Decision Papers to the overall Domain level Technical Design Authority (TDA) process as a senior Engineering resource. Core competencies, knowledge and experience : Excellent knowledge of the tools and technologies required for Analytics and BI Expertise of IT engineering especially in the context of IT transformation Strong expertise in networking, data management, BI and cloud concepts Strong expertise in IT support Key accountabilities and decision ownership Ownership of the Analytics engineering processes that underpin the “day to day” support of the Operational & Management Analytics platforms. Ownership of technical decisions and execution around upgrades and enhancements of the Operational & Management platforms. Definition and implementation of reusable Detailed Design Patterns for both Operational and Management Analytics that are reusable in multiple HLDs. Support BI Development teams in the development of reusable components and APIs to rapidly deliver reusable Dashboards across our Standard Service Offers covering Service Management, Incident Management, Problem Management and Operational Performance. Ensuring that Engineering teams collaborate on the delivery of High Level Must have technical / professional qualifications: Mandatory Splunk and GCP experience Advanced experience in IT & Transformation Strong networking skills Strong data management & data warehousing skills Excellent knowledge of BI tools Strong cloud and API experience Manage by influence and knowhow Sounds like the perfect job?
