We’re looking for a Analytics Technical Lead!As a Analytics Technical Lead you will have the opportunity to use your curious mind to gather relevant data, build the insights and make recommendations to your main stakeholders as support for business decisions. Moreover you will be an active player in the process of developing the data science domain through strong collaboration with technical counterparts in order to define the data and identified technical solutionsYour day-to-day :As an Analytics Technical lead in an Agile Way of Working, you will be a part of the Analytics Centre of Expertise and will dedicate your time and efforts to achieve the team’s purpose through:Designing the optimal analysis framework to support business decisions;Applying broad knowledge of the business context to define, or redefine, problems, identifying complex associations, linkages and dependencies;Partnering with business leaders to define and institutionalize a data driven culture;Performing complex analysis of products (profiles, segmentations, models) in order to help squad/tribe members to better understand users of ING products;Identifying areas where training or further support in advanced statistical models are needed and works with others to improve their skills;Acting as the internal expert on data privacy and security;Leading (in alignment with Chapter Lead) the process of developing the data science domain through strong collaboration with technical counterparts in order to define the data and identified technical solutions;As a Technical Lead you are confident to deliver all of the above in an autonomous way. You will also confidently come up with recommendations and improvement proposals, coach other colleagues and if needed be a backup for the ChapterLead.What you bring to the team:Previous experience in a Data Science / Analytics Lead role;Extensive analytical and statistical skill-set in the field of direct marketing actions, data analysis, service analysis;Proven experience with various programming languages and statistical analysis tools, proprietary or open source (e.g., Phython, R. SAS, SPSS, Spark) to develop clean code for well-defined tasks;Experience with distributed data/computing tools: Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, MySQL, etc.;Bachelor's degree (Mathematics, Marketing, Cybernetics, Statistics, Automatic Control & Computers);Data driven and computer savvy;Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely: strong, clear communicator across departments;Team player with ambition and energy, decisiveness and discipline;Self-motivated; constructively approach to problems; open to new approaches;Ability to manage complexity through making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems;Passion for delivery and customer satisfaction with an enthusiastic, “get-it-done” attitude and ability to see the big picture.
