Claims Officer Motor Extended Warranty with Italian and English

Working on behalf of a number of automotive manufacturers, you will be responsible for the handling of Warranty claims via our online claims portal. You’ll be in direct communication with our client’s retailer network, supporting the claims process from start to finish. You will have the overall responsibility to approve or decline a claim, based on information received, your technical expertise and the terms of the warranty policy.
You will provide a professional and proactive approach in assessing claims in-line with the principles of treating customers fairly and adhering to company procedures.
Your aim will be to deliver outstanding experiences each and every day in-line with our business partners contractual agreements.
Responsabilities:
- Handle incoming claims in accordance within the policy terms and conditions.
- Assess validity of the claim and ensure all criteria is met in-line programme standards. This includes verifying documentation for accuracy.
- Proactively manage all aspects of the claim to ensure that all services are provided at the agreed time and the retailer is kept fully appraised of progress.
- Monitor claims for potential fraud indicators and flag any concerns with your manager.
- Ensure retailers are adhering to agreed claims procedures and self-authority claim limits.
- Escalate complex or high-risk complaints to your manager, providing clear and comprehensive information to support resolution.
- Deliver a professional, empathetic, and proactive service experience, ensuring adherence to company policies and the principles of Treating Customers Fairly.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to support the Allianz Partners Vision and Mission.
Attributes and Skills:
Communication
English C1 level - demonstrates proficiency in both verbal and written communication. You will be required to engage clearly and professionally with retailer networks and internal teams.
Italian language will be a plus.
Organisational Skills
Strong organisational skills are essential to effectively prioritise and manage a diverse workload. This includes coordinating multiple tasks, adhering to deadlines, and ensuring all activities are recorded accurately to support smooth operational workflows.
Technical Skills
You will have a thorough understanding of motor vehicle technology.
Technical qualifications equivalent to City and Guilds Motor Vehicle Technician
Thorough knowledge of motor vehicle warranty and sound technical knowledge
AI and Machine Learning Utilized for predictive analytics and fraud detection.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) General AI applications in customer service and claims processing.
Business Intelligence Important for decision-making and strategic planning.
Regulatory
To work within and be compliant at all times with all relevant regulations and legislation applicable to the role.
