Cloud Engineer/lead – Tools in Târgu Mureş

Role Overview & Expanded Key Responsibilities• Own and lead the tools ecosystem supporting Cloud 2.0 infrastructure transition and steady‑state operations, ensuring tool readiness, stability, and minimal business disruption in large enterprise / telco environments.• Drive end‑to‑end tool onboarding, transition planning, execution, and governance, including knowledge transfer, secondary and primary support enablement, and steady‑state tool operations.• Design, implement, and continuously enhance automation‑first tooling for provisioning, orchestration, monitoring, remediation, and lifecycle management across infrastructure platforms.• Ensure tools effectively support high availability, resilience, DR/BCP, and operational excellence across compute, storage, network, and middleware domains.• Own asset discovery, inventory accuracy, lifecycle visibility, and contract alignment through tooling, supporting transition due diligence and ongoing operations.• Act as the technical lead for tools within a POD‑based delivery model, collaborating closely with SRE, Cloud, Automation, Security, Projects, and Command Centre teams.• Drive continuous improvement of the tools landscape through FinOps enablement, cost transparency, experience (XLA) measurement, and KPI/SLA instrumentation.• Support infra‑led projects such as lifecycle refresh, migrations, and technology transformations by standardizing tooling, automating workflows, and enforcing governance controls.Skillset• Cloud platforms: OpenStack, OpenShift, VMware• Transition & ITSM tools: ServiceNow (ITSM, CMDB, SPM), Jira, Confluence, SharePoint• Automation & orchestration: Polycloud, InManta, Ansible, Terraform, GitHub, GitLab, ArgoCD, Jenkins• Monitoring & observability: Dynatrace, Prometheus, LogicMonitor• Security & GRC: ServiceNow GRC, ARCON, CyberArk, SailPoint, ForgeRock, Splunk, Rapid7, Qualys• Asset & lifecycle tools: ServiceNow Asset Management• Operating models & practices: SRE, DevSecOps, ITIL, POD/Squad modelAbout InfosysInfosys is a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting.
