KONE is looking for a motivated Credit Controller to join our team. In this role, you will support the project and finance teams to secure KONE’s financial and contractual interests, manage credit and collections, and ensure smooth invoicing processes.
What you will do
Contract Management
Support the project team by reviewing incoming and outgoing correspondence with contractual or financial implications
Issue all relevant contractual notices in a timely manner to safeguard KONE’s position
Assist with the variation process and ensure KONE’s financial and contractual interests are protected
Manage and document the snagging and handover process to secure KONE’s liability position
Collaborate with project management and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate claims, payments, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle
Resolve invoice disputes in a way that maximizes project benefit
Credit Management
Assess the creditworthiness of potential customers and monitor payment history of existing customers
Optimize cash flow through effective collection processes and reporting
Assist regional and branch management with receivable goals, risk analysis, and corrective action plans
Collections
Conduct structured collection calls with customers and record commitments to pay
Initiate and coordinate the dispute resolution process to ensure timely resolution
Support other business functions in resolving invoice disputes at the root cause
Invoicing
Follow up on project milestones, process invoices, down payments, and final invoices
Track time-based billing and manage guarantees and retention-related tasks
What we are looking for
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field
Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Credit
Strong understanding of credit policies, procedures, and contractual business conditions
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.); experience with relevant software is a plus
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Customer-oriented mindset with good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and meet tight deadlines
Well-organized and detail-oriented
