We are looking for a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud data infrastructure. You will work with modern AWS, Snowflake, and streaming technologies to support reliable data operations and analytics.
What You’ll Do
Data Pipelines
Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue and PythonImplement incremental, batch, and CDC workflows (AWS DMS, Kafka)Develop dbt transformations for data quality and standardisationCloud Data Infrastructure
Deploy and manage AWS-based data platformsBuild streaming pipelines with KafkaConfigure and optimise Snowflake environmentsImplement IaC using TerraformDatabases & Integration
Work with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server, SnowflakePerform Snowflake performance tuningManage data modelling for analyticsImplement data connectivity and movement solutionsMonitoring & Operations
Set up monitoring and alerting for pipelinesTroubleshoot data quality and pipeline failuresManage secrets via AWS Secrets ManagerEnsure data security through encryption and access controlGrowth Opportunities
Evaluate Snowflake OpenFlow as a future CDC solutionContribute to architecture and platform roadmapProgress toward data architecture responsibilitiesRequirements
Technical Skills
Strong Python & SQLAWS (Glue, DMS), Snowflake, dbtPostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL ServerKafka for streamingTerraform, CI/CD, IaCFamiliarity with GraphQL APIs and AWS Secrets ManagerExperience
