Finance and Integration Lead (Director) in Craiova

Key responsibilities:The Finance & Integration Director is responsible for leading accurate and timely financial reporting; maintaining a framework of robust and efficient control processes; promoting process improvement and partnering on cost control within GBS. Your key objectives will be to support the creation of one aligned, efficient, and effective reporting function that provides the required monthly reporting (P&L and Balance Sheet) and internal Management Information. To be successful in this role, engagement with various parts of the business is required, often at different levels of seniority.The Finance & Integration Director will provide leadership of all strategic transformation programs, helping GBS deliver on its mission to shape the next era where Global Business Services works better for people. They will focus on bringing about change as well as growth in scale and cost to serve. This role will include several global strategic programs, including service scaling, central digital / automation services, and the overall offshoring strategy for the market. They will also take the financial lead on all projects which are specific to the GBS business, these range from (not limited to), the evolution of locally required tools and systems, analytics & reporting, and audit support.In addition, the Finance and Integration Director is responsible for providing strategic input working closely with the Head of GBS to identify opportunities for Avon to work more closely with GBS and scale services to other group business units. The Finance & Integration Officer will oversee the Global Strategy funding, implementation, and benefits tracking of the centralization of business operations and services, transformation programs when appropriate. Manage cost control across within GBS through analysing of actual costs, identifying areas of potential cost reduction and support on GBS headcount resource, hire requests, and cost managementManage all elements of the P&L and Balance Sheet with all accounts reconciled by the internal deadlines, ensuring unreconciled items are reviewed monthlyOwnership for external, internal, and SOX audits and continual development of the internal governance and control frameworkManage, support, and develop members of the team to actively train and improve staff knowledge and experienceWork in close partnership with the leadership team to manage the scope, plan, and delivery of the transformation roadmap to bring efficiencies and transform ways of working.Take a consultative approach with functions and Clusters to ensure successful integration of GBS models, including central services, offshoring, and future models for in housing and on-site working;Executes commercial change control effectively throughout the program. Be able to motivate people with different skills to you​Qualifications and ExperiencePreferably be ACA/CTA or other local equivalent qualifications with a background in operational finance who has likely progressed to Director level before embarking on a career in Finance Transformation.
