Global Indirect Procurement (GIP) Privacy and Cyber Security Program LeadThe General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) entered into force on 25 May 2018, setting the highest standards for the processing of personal data and requiring all companies to evaluate and restructure their approach to managing personal data of employees, customers, and their partners to comply with the new privacy law,HP, like any major corporation, considers privacy to be a top priority and strives to keep its data and systems safe from cyber security threats, and extends to all HP and third-party service providers.The GIP Compliance Value Team has an exciting opportunity to lead the GIP Privacy and Cyber Security Program. This position requires a strong understanding of the GDPR and other privacy regulations and a focus on implementing the GIP compliance strategy, as well as building strong relationships with key GIP stakeholders and business functions. This role will be dedicated to supporting the GIP Privacy and Cyber Security Compliance Program to turn global data privacy policies and requirements into efficient and effective business processes for GIP service providers who need to comply with these requirements. The selected candidate will work closely with the HP Privacy and Cyber ​​Security team to lead projects and implement solutions to ensure that HP complies with the GDPR, its changes and other global privacy regulations. In addition to traditional project management skills and expertise applicable to the area of ​​confidentiality and information security a key requirement for this role is the ability to build credibility and influence third-party actions in support of ongoing audits and conformity assessments.As part of the GIP Compliance Value Team, the GIP Privacy and Cyber Security Program Leader will lead key functional programs and projects in support of GIP’s journey to transform business excellence. The role will support the long-term goals and objectives of the GIP organization, as well as provide guidance, develop strategy and align functional policies in the designated area of ​​expertise.Job specifics/responsibilities:• Defines GDPR (or similar) compliance objectives and leads the GIP Privacy and Cyber Security Compliance Program;• Analyzes industry trends regarding data confidentiality, information security and procurement performance requirements to support GIP projects and strategic decisions; periodically reports the results of the analyzes to the GIP management team;• Leads business improvement projects (process, quality, customer experience, team; integration and optimization) and provides feedback on operational excellence;• Represents the GIP Organization in meetings on data confidentiality and information security with internal and external stakeholders;• Strives for the accuracy and high quality of services, suggests improvements in process and efficiency;• Acts as instructor and coach for existing and new employees in designated areas of expertise;• Works with GIP Compliance Manager, Privacy Office, Cyber ​​Security and other GIP organizations to define projects, priorities and deliver accordingly;• Identifies and implements process and tool enhancements, in partnership with privacy and cybersecurity teams;• Manages the workload of outsourced resources, monitors performance and values, as appropriate;• Establishes and maintains strong relationships with GIP providers, Category Managers and BU stakeholders to ensure the objectives of confidentiality, cyber security and GIP compliance;• Supports internal and external audits and appropriate corrective action plans;• Defines and performs audits and evaluations of implementation processes and policies to identify areas for improvement;• Supports supplier privacy / cybersecurity assessments and remediation plans in close collaboration with HP Privacy and Cyber Security Teams;• Defines and monitors the privacy and cybersecurity governance models and performance dashboard values.• Drives the expansion of the supplier Privacy Certification Program in collaboration with the Privacy Office to achieve the stated benefitsEducation (degree) and professional experience required:• Bachelor’s degree (master’s degree) or master’s degree (master’s degree) or equivalent experience.• Usually 3-5 years of experience in data protection and / or compliance function or in supply or supply chain function.• Sound knowledge of GDPR requirements and national data protection laws.• Extensive experience in project management• Funds for implementing processes and tools are preferred, but not required Skills and qualitiesPersonal skills and abilities:• Analytical and data-based personality• Ability to work on projects of complex and diverse field of activity• Process orientation with attention to detail• Attitude determined by results and able to meet strict deadlines• Team spirit, customer orientation and excellence• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills• Strong communication and leadership skills with previous presentation and teleconferencing experience• Strong collaboration, influence and negotiation skills in multifunctional and multicultural teams• Ability to instruct / learn and demonstrate good knowledge of the subject• The person with the ability to learn quickly, well organized, with a flexible and receptive attitude• Comfortable working in a remote, virtual environment with minimal surveillance• Ability to easily adapt to organizational and structural changes• Focus on methodology and process• Project Management experienceAbout HPYou’re out to reimagine and reinvent what’s possible—in your career as well as the world around you.Soare we.
